The university spans three campuses. The main campus in Colchester is a university town surrounded by beautiful ancient parkland. All on one site, situated on the edge of Britain’s oldest recoded town, students have access to modern and inspiring learning facilities, library, accommodation, shops, bars, cafés, nightclubs, restaurants, extensive sports facilities, banks, and art gallery and a theatre. As one of the most internationally diverse campus universities in the UK with one of the highest numbers of student clubs and societies per student in the UK, you have a great environment for living and learning. It’s only an hour away from all the attractions of London yet provides a very affordable and safe student experience.

Colchester town itself has around 180,000 inhabitants and has a great compact town center full of shops, restaurants, bars and music and entertainment venues.

The town-center Southend campus houses our Entrepreneurship and Innovation courses and part of the East 15 Acting School. Its location in Southend-on-Sea boasts seven miles of spectacular coastline. You can sail, kitesurf or cycle along the coast or enjoy the world’s longest leisure pier. The campus buildings are all centrally located within minutes of each other and provide modern facilities and an extensive library collection, as well as a gym, catering outlets and a Students’ Union venue. Accommodation is provided in the Southend Squares, a two-minute walk from the teaching buildings.

Accommodation is guaranteed for all international students on our Colchester and Southend campuses as long as you apply by the relevant deadlines.

The Loughton campus of East 15 Acting School enjoys the buzz and diversity of London while also offering an attractive green and peaceful setting in which to study. The campus is located close to a London underground station, offering easy access to the arts and entertainment of the capital. East 15 often presents students’ work in theatres and studios throughout London.
